Quick Start Guide
Follow these simple steps to get started with the conference website

Sign In

Click the "Sign In" button at the top and select your name from the dropdown list. You'll see your name at the top once you're signed in.

Explore the Conference

Use the tabs at the top to navigate between different sections: Schedule, Breakouts, Q&A, Speakers, Map, Alerts, Lunch, and Carpool.

Register for Sessions

Go to the "Breakouts" tab to register for breakout sessions. You need to register for 4 sessions on Monday and 2 sessions on Tuesday.

Registering for Breakout Sessions

How to Register:

  1. Click on the "Breakouts" tab at the top
  2. Use the filter to select Monday or Tuesday
  3. Look for sessions marked with a black registration button
  4. Click "Register" for sessions you want to attend
  5. You can only register for sessions that don't conflict with your schedule
  6. Register for 4 sessions on Monday and 2 sessions on Tuesday

Tip: The website automatically prevents you from registering for overlapping sessions.

Asking Questions in Q&A

How to Ask a Question:

  1. Go to the "Q&A" tab during a presentation
  2. Click the "Ask a Question" button
  3. Type your question in the text box
  4. Click "Submit" to send your question
  5. Your question will appear in the live feed
  6. You can also "like" other people's questions

Tip: Questions are visible to everyone and help presenters know what the audience wants to learn.

Viewing Notifications

How to View Announcements:

  1. Click on the "Alerts" tab
  2. All announcements and updates will appear here
  3. Click on any links in the announcements
  4. Stay updated with conference news and changes

Tip: Check the Alerts tab regularly for important updates about schedule changes or announcements.

Using the Map Feature

Finding Locations:

  1. Click on the "Map" tab
  2. See the conference location (JCC)
  3. Find nearby places to socialize
  4. Click on coffee shops, restaurants, etc.
  5. Get directions in Google Maps

Tip: Use the map to find places to meet friends and relax between sessions.

Carpooling Feature

How to Use Carpool:

  1. Go to the "Carpool" tab
  2. Click "Create a Post" if you're offering a ride
  3. Enter your arrival date and time
  4. Add how many seats you have available
  5. Include your email and any other details
  6. Click "Create Post" to share
  7. Contact other drivers via their posts

Tip: You can also comment on other people's posts to coordinate rides.

Navigating the Schedule

Using the Schedule:

  1. The schedule is broken down by day (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday)
  2. Blue buttons indicate breakout sessions you can register for
  3. Click on speaker names to learn more about presenters
  4. Click on session titles for more details
  5. Use the day filters to focus on specific days

Tip: Breakout sessions have limited capacity, so register early!
